Connor update - a little bit of interpretation

Yesterday we went to see Samuel, one of our sponsor children. We went to the project that Samuel goes to. Our translator had to have a mask on because she had had a motor bike accident. So we went  inside and got greeted with a traditional welcome dance by two girls. Samuel, his Mum and Dad, Kenzi, Brenton, Triniti, the pastors wife and I were sitting around a table watching the cool dance. After the dance Samuel and family got us to stand and they gave us traditional Indonesian woven sashes. Then we gave Samuel his gifts. We took some photos and then showed him how to play handball. After that we went on a tour of the classrooms and the offices. Then we went grocery shopping with his mum and dad. After that we went to Samuel's home. We showed him how to pump up his soccer ball that we gave him. We also pumped up his old one (which Da gave him four years ago). Samuel plays Footsal. After a chat, a prayer and a little bit of interpretation, we went out for lunch. We taught Samuel how to play thumb wars. Then we went back to the project and played handball for the rest of the day that was left. Then we had to say goodbye, again! I'm getting sick of goodbyes.

I will get a video of the Jakarta traffic.
