Ever Closer - 18 Days To Go

This is a photo from the Manado trip in 2009 with Medowie Christian School. I am not sure if this will be the school we are visiting in Manado, but hopefully the construction is complete! 

The last three days have been productive. We spent some time on Saturday reading some more about Indonesia and talked through the phenomenon of 'culture shock'.

We have also been able to get on to the owner and a staff member of the place we are staying at the end of our trip. Although nothing is sure until you are on location, we continue to hope and pray it is real!

Although we fly out in 18 days, we actually leave for Geelong in 16. It freaks me out to think that when I arrive back from Brisbane on Thursday, there will be less than two weeks to go! This is indeed becoming very real.

As I prepare to go on this adventure with my family, it impossible to know what awaits. All we bank on is knowing that God is already there, waiting for us to step in to each day.
